The Blueburg Café offers “Plug and Play” Open Mic nights on the first Wednesday of each month, showcasing musicians, singers, poets, dancers, comedians and story-tellers. Amplification and microphones are provided. All ages are welcome! Open Mic begins at 7:00 pm and continues until approximately 9:00 pm.  $2 donation qualifies you for door prize entry!  

The Café’s full bar offers beer, wine, soft drinks including Sprecher soda.

Doors open and sign-up begins at 6:15 p.m.  Performers are encouraged to sign up before 6:40 p.m. as slots fill quickly. The Center will be closed between 5:00 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Volunteers and staff that are running the event are the only persons that will be permitted inside of the Center at this time.

Performers appear on stage on a first-come, first on-stage basis, with management reserving the right to move performances to best showcase the talent. Each performer will have approximately 5 minutes on the stage. Due to time constraints, drum kits will not be allowed at Open Mic Night, and prerecorded music is not permitted. Drummers are encouraged to use congas or a cahon for this event.

Special requests must be made with the Sound Technician in advance during the sign-up period and are subject to approval.
