Room History
The Inn was built in 1853 and had only two owners before the Brown family bought it in 1983. Bill and Anne Conley are the fourth owners of this amazing inn. The first floor room was once the kitchen area and also served as the dining room. A second door connected the kitchen to the pub so guests could be served in both areas. An original photo above the twin bed shows the dining room in the 1900s. A special point of interest is the tamarack ceiling. It was uncovered after removing 3 layers of false ceilings. The room contains both a queen size bed along with a twin bed. The Girl & the Bird photo is also something fun to look at while staying in Room 10. (How many are there?)
