Room History
One of the original rooms on the 2nd floor, Room 2 faces the main street. During the restoration, most of the plaster walls were able to be saved. The woodwork and the door are authentic to the building. In the late 1800s this room would have been a favorite with great views of the street and stagecoach arrivals. As the stagecoach arrived, luggage would be hoisted through a second floor window since the stairs were too narrow for the guests' trunks.
