Room History One of the original rooms on the 2nd floor, Room 4 was always a favorite since it was quiet and at the top of the stairs. The pine wardrobe was found at a local estate sale. When restoration started in 1983, Room 4 had walls of lime green and the door and woodwork were painted dark brown. All the room doors on the 2nd floor with the exception of Room 5 are original to the building. They were stripped of their paint and refinished. The 2nd floor hallway has original floors, walls, and marks of many travelers.
