Room History The stone building has always served as a place to stay for travelers and guests. It was called the Central House Hotel and was on the route from Milwaukee to Green Bay. The area that faces the main street was once a part of the housekeeper's small bedroom. When the 3rd floor stairs were moved to be less steep, the small room became part of Room 8. The two round windows are original to the building and reflect the Greek revival period. Many of the walls are still intact with original plaster and the pine floor boards creak to remind us of times gone by.
