Room History In 1983 when the building restoration began, the area where Room 5 is today was one large room. At that time it was the only bathroom for the 2nd & 3rd floors. It contained an old clawfoot tub, pedestal sink and toilet. The faint mark on the stone wall shows where the old roof line used to be. Today, as you enter Room 5, there is an antique writing desk, a comfortable wingback chair for reading and a whirlpool. The queen bedroom is around the corner. Windows face the back of the Inn and the view includes the old feed mill in the distance. Guests frequently comment that this is their favorite suite.
